With stirring beauty and inspiring serenity, St. Luke's 150-voice Chancel Choir, Soloists and 40-piece Orchestra will present a new choral masterwork - Mack Wilberg's Requiem - in concert on Sunday, March 22 at 4:00 pm.
Hailed for its grandeur, energy, and accessibility, the new setting draws upon both ancient traditions and familiar poetic texts for an unforgettable and unique musical presentation. St. Luke's is one of the first churches in the nation to present the work, after its heralded premiere by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
Music Director Mark Squire conducts the FREE 60 minute afternoon concert. The Indianapolis community is cordially invited to attend. A freewill offering will be received to help defray concert costs.
