Making people and ideas findable

So many people are using Twitter for personal and business, it's too easy miss out on some of the Twitters MVT's (most valuable tweeple, if you will). Who is on your MVT list and why?

For me it's always been in three parts:

Northwest Indiana - Real Estate - Politics

For politics I rely on the list Top Conservatives on Twitter

For Northwest Indiana just a few keys @prayeramedic @daltonsbriefs (me) @nwiblogs @cendercompany

For Real Estate try Active Rain Twitter Group

For world politics I suggest @GeoPoltv but we warned, we are from ALL OVER the spectrum of beliefs, cultures, etc., so not just conservatives

You know things in your industry that might be helpful to your network. Work it Wil!

@Wil I wouldn't recommending ACTUALLY tweeting what you are doing. I recommend reading ProBlogger's http://www.problogger.net/archives/2008/01/25/how-to-use-twitter-ti... on the uses of Twitter.

My tweets @smjdesign tend to be dry humor (political, news) and questions.

Your quotes are clever, too, btw, Stephen.
I don't see these must follows listed:
@gregcooper
@nancymyrland
@douglaskarr
@billbean
@bnpositive
@Ichooseindy
@trufflemedia
@chrisbrogan
@guykawasaki
@scobeleizer
@MCHammer

I know there are dozens more, but if you take a look at the #Indiana tweet stream of consciousness, you will find dozens more.

Of course me... @Deezelware and @Deezel_Tank.

But I really recommend following @mashable.

Help

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.

6. Smaller Indiana is supported by its members, and by corporate sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about sponsorship, please call Pat Coyle at 317 332 7878.
