Colts confessions: Were you awake or asleep at the end?

Awake! But my boyfriend didn't know if he could watch the end - turning the game on, then off, then on again. We kept the faith and were, obviously, overjoyed we did - jumping from our seats at the end for high fives all around. Proud Colts fans live here.

My wife had gone up to get ready for bed, and I admit I must have said "we're done" about 5 or 6 times in the second half. I will also admit that we both went to bed a few years ago and missed the end of the Tampa game. But last night - for whatever reason - I still felt a glimmer of hope because we kept hanging within 2 scores. On that last Pats drive, when we stopped 'em on 3rd down I was about to run up and get Amy, but I had to pause when I saw the Pats were going for it on 4th. When we stopped them, I bounded up the stairs 2 at a time (careful not to wake the kids). Amy was just coming out of the shower and with eyes rolling in my head I said "Honey, you have to come downstairs right away!" She was about to just throw on a towel and follow me, but stopped and with a slightly cooler head say, "you've got time to throw on a robe..." Anyway, we went back downstairs to witness the spectacular finish. We were jumping around and hugging and high fiving...then had to stay up and watch highlights just so we could wind down a bit. Funny how a football game can get us so worked up, isn't it? Very proud of the Colts...they found a way to beat a very good Pats team...and showed a ton of character in the process. They simply didn't quit. And as I think about it, they never do. That's what I'll remember most.

I stayed up but then could not go to sleep until after 1 AM and had to get up at 5. But boy was it worth it!

I had lost hope until we held them to a field goal late in the fourth and we were only 13 points down. I think that fired the Colts up, they realized they could win with two quick scores. Not tie, win!

I tried to stay awake, but I was out at the end of the 3rd quarter! I did however get the play by play report from my husband this morning! Way to go Colts!!!

I was screaming along with the other 60,000+ people at the game! Too bad for the the thousands who left early. My buddies and I had talked earlier that the Colts had come back from worse (Tampa Bay) but I can't say that I really believed I would be witnessing a similar ending, only sweeter because it was the Patriots!

It was pretty quiet in there after Moss' last TD... not much hope found in the crowd, except for the drunk guy in front of us... he had no doubts the whole time. :)

No, I did not go to bed. BUT I decided to do somework to keep my mind off the game and to get something accomplished. I finished my work just as the game gone exciting!

I'm a complete loser! I went to bed and read at halftime, consoling myself that I really didn't want my Colts to go into the playoffs undefeated, anyway.
