This video is very touching, but it makes us realize how easy it is to forget and take for granted the sacrifice being made by our troops. Do you have a friend or family member fighting for the US right now? If not, can you imagine how hard it would be to have your family separated for 18-months or more? Let's use this forum thread to say thank show our support to the brave men and women who are sacrificing their lives for our freedom. And let's not forget their families back here in Indiana.

Awesome video, Pat! I was gone from my family for close to 11 months back in Desert Shield/Storm. When I left, my son was barely crawling and when I got back he was walking and didn't know who I was. That was a tough pill to swallow. Today's troops, especially our soldiers, are sacrificing an incredible amount and we owe them our freedom.

Others may disagree but the people trying to kill our troops are simply looking to kill Americans - and our troops stand in between them and us. You won't find bravery like that anywhere else. God bless our troops.

I met with a soldier who came back from Iraq this past Saturday. I help his race team with some product line and he was more appreciative of me helping the team while he was away. He even called me from Iraq at one point and gave me a United States Flag flown on one of the bases in Iraq to show his appreciation. I was floored by these actions and couldn't thank him enough. He just kept saying thanks for helping him while he was gone.

I couldn't quite understand why he was thanking me so much, but these guys and gals don't so much worry about their mission overseas, but making sure their families don't have a lot of stress to deal with while they are gone.

One of our family members left for Iraq today. Two others are serving here in the states. One is forever in Arlington National Cemetery in DC. Please honor all who dedicate themselves to serving our country.
