Making people and ideas findable

After serveral ideas year by year jotted down in notebooks and typed up on the notepad, I am finally ready to start putting them into action.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My general idea:  a non profit organization, that offers helpful services to the ENTIRE community without discrimination (income, race, gender, social status, religion & so on)

1 of several examples:  Free sewing/knitting/crocheting classes to the entire public (county broken into sections), the quilts/blankets made by these services, would be donated to a shelter/or families in the immediate area with the need for them.  Not only would the recipients of the classes be receiving knowlege but others will benefit warmth from their learning.

I would love for you to come by my office, see what I do and why and help me grow the mission of OP.  We're kind of sinking right now fiinancially and I need some new thinkers to THINK with while we help each other in mission and purpose!  We are not 501c3 and probably won't be for a while.  Therefore we exist solely on the generosity of our community and the events we give.

Please come by and see what makes it all worth it.  Also please consider support our upcoming event.

Would the events be at a local community center, local library, or at your home? If you are already a member of a church, you might get permission to use a meeting room.

Eventually, once funds are established there is a building here I would like to purchase that is currently on the market and it's pretty freshly listed.  However, at this time since I have no funding established and I'm not looking to take over by morning, depending on the service provided, they would be held at various locations.  Thank you for the suggestion!

Consider networking with like minded professionals. Visit www.wewnonline.com to learn how. Our next monthly meetup is may 7th at 10am. Great event for mothers and daughters!
