Independent Sales Representative Needed

Lucent Concepts, Inc. is in need of an independent sales representative. This position is a temporary to permanent position for a major non-profit fundraising project. It will last through the end of November 2009, and potentially extend past that with other projects.

This job will be commission sales for corporate sponsorships for a non-profit fundraising project. This individual will make contact with large, medium, and small companies in the Indianapolis area to sell sponsorships for a 15 event fundraising series. Commission will be based on experience, but will vary between 10% and 15% of total sales. Potential income for the 3 month sales campaign is $10,000 to $15,000. Many leads and contacts will be provided by the company, and more importantly the well-known non-profit organization.

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, self-starter. They will have a background in sales and/or marketing, or be a fast learner with good communication skills. They must be prepared to work in a straight commission atmosphere.
