Making people and ideas findable

Over the past months, I’ve noticed that people seem to be quick to complain and appear to be satisfied with simply leaving it at that. Perhaps it has always been this way and I’ve tuned out the chatter. I can’t help but wonder why this is acceptable. Why – if one takes the time to verbalize a problem – does he (or she) not pose a solution or, at the very least, pose a question and start a dialogue that may flush out a solution?

How do we change the way we look at things? How do we change our mindset from lamenting problems to seeking opportunities for change? How do we turn the negative and often toxic rant into a positive and productive solution?

I don’t have the answers, but hope that we can come together to change the culture and tone of our discussions on here and around the water coolers.
