Relocating to Southwest Indiana and looking for an opportunity

Hello Smaller Indiana. I'm relocating to Southwest Indiana (Dubois County) by year end. My wife's employment will be there soon, thus our need to relocate. I'm looking to make connections for employment, church/community organizations, and after school care for our daughter (assuming I get an opportunity).

Here's my background: Over 20 years experience as a plant/project engineer, project manager, and industrial facility/environmental manager. I'm also a fee-based financial planner and have worked 2 years in Financial Services. With the economy, you can't always be choosy, but I'm not just looking for anything either. I would like to do something that i can be passionate about and know I'm making a difference. I would like a Project Manager or Project Engineer opportunity.

Geographical here's what cities make sense for me: Evansville, Jasper, Huntingburg, Owensboro KY, Corydon, Princeton, Washington, and maybe even Crane Naval area. So, if you've got any connections or pertinent info, then I would appreciate. I went to college in Evansville and am from the Louisville area, so I'm comfortable living in Southwest Indiana, and we feel quite blessed by that.
