Making people and ideas findable

I need info on who can help me set up the following scenario:

1. Someone calls a general number it could be an 800 number or even 317.
2. They are greeted with a message "Thank you for calling ABC Company. For Will press 1. For Mark press 2."
3. If they press 1, the call is forwarded to my cell phone and I will need to know it is coming from the service so I can answer appropriately.
4. If they press 2, the call goes to Mark's cell phone.
5. Before 8:30AM and after 6PM, I would like the general number to kick straight to a voice mailbox "Thank you for calling ABC Company. We are out of the office at the moment, please leave a message or feel free to send us an e-mail at info@abc.com

Anyone have any knowledge on how to do this? How much it would be? etc. etc.

thanks!

Call your phone service provider. Do they provide your line service and voice mail? Do you own your equipment or lease it from your provider? What brand is it? It's simple programming yet there's a lot more to it than just forwarding the call. I used to work in telecom and sold systems and what you are describing is programming that interacts with your voice mail system . If you don't like dealing with AT&T, look in the yellow pages and contact any of the smaller independent business phone system companies. Try Taylored Systems, CPI, 3G, K & J, Dugdale.... there are many to coose from. I'm sure there has to be a telecom guy on here to help out!

This is a specialty for our company. We call it the Virtual Exchange. Check out the white paper I uploaded. If you are interested, let me know when is a good time for us to grab coffee to discuss in detail.

We provide these types of services for companies of all sizes. We can replace your existing telephone and internet company, or we can wrap our services around them. We can also replace equipment or use your existing phone equipment. We have alot of flexibility.

Will, there are very inexpensive solutions for this. There are solution providers and there are phone systems that can handle what you are requesting.

If you want a phone system, you can use something like Talkswitch: http://www.talkswitch.com/us/en/

If you want a service, then there are a ton out there, but I usually recommend http://www.ringcentral.com/

Stephen- sent you a message

I was also told to call Comcast. They cover this type of service in their Business Line package.

I will let everyone know what I find out.
