Making people and ideas findable

Geoff Wood

Which local social media companies/consultants do you admire and why?

I've asked this question a couple of times on Twitter but I've not gotten a good response (with a few notable exceptions) so I thought I would try it here:

Which local social media companies/consultants do you admire and what have they done to earn your admiration?

Blatent self-promotion alert! :0)

The advertising/PR agency I work for, TrendyMinds, is always on the cutting-edge of social networking, advertising, PR and interactive media. In fact, a recent social network we built (from Ning, no less) for NASCAR's Kevin Harvick has recieved national attention everywhere from PR Week to PC Magazine to Inside Indiana Business.

Greg Cross with Cross Creative. He is a member of SI. He offers a balanced approach of both form and function to help clients leverage technology for sales and marketing within social media environments.

We have worked with Raquel, Angela, and Clay at Silver Square. They are very creative and in tune with how to make social media work for organizations. On top of that, they are a lot of fun.

I work for Professional Blog Service, so I'm naturally going to say we're the best. But my good friends Kyle and Colin at Brandswag do great work for small businesses.

Blatant self-promotion, but Roundpeg wins hands down in my view. Lorraine Ball is (in my humble opinion) Brilliant at social networking/advertising/PR/etc!
