I am hoping to get my photography started back up and flowing with a store front on Etsy.

I have 3 companies in the works.

1. Online Golf lessons via videos. Another Smaller Indiana member and I are teaming up to launch this in the spring of 2010.

2. A new way to network for business. Can't really share too much info on the idea yet, but it should cater to a different market than the rainmakers, BNI, and Chambers.

3. A clothing line based around the nickname of the town where I went to college.

No matter how "bad" people say the economy is, I'll continue to be an entrepreneur.

I have a couple of new ventures in the works as well. To early to disclose but they will be media related companies and smaller Indiana will be a part of my plan as well!

It is all in the mix...

Everyone who cooks uses mixes. You have bought macaroni & cheese
pre-mixed or stuffing in a box. Measuring and assembling food in
advance to use a time saver or a convenience when time is tight. Store
bought mixes are costly and riddled with trans-fat so that they are
preserved and last longer through transportation and warehousing. In
comparison, a "STIR THE MIX" is fresh, preservative free and the
ingredients can be prepared to the individuals’ preferences or
nutritional requirements.

Few commercial mixes meet the requirements of those who prefer whole
wheat to all purpose flour or reduced sugar and salt content. Stir the
mix and you can prepare a pantry full of high quality, nutritious and
delicious that are attractive for your family and your neighbors.

A mix combines basic dry ingredients that can be stored for future
use, gifts or your very own home based neighborhood business.

Seeking angel investors, location and hoping to collaborate withthe Southeast Food Coop in Fountain Square.

Cara-Sounds like a great idea! This may be a stretch, but the Bloomington Kitchen Incubator might be a resource for a location, consultation, or just encouragement.

Kevin and Laina: Thanks for the good thoughts

The Pantry (the retail store) and Stir the mix (a meal in a jar) is a new venture for the immediate benefit of Indianapolis. The mission of Stir the Mix is create a home-based business model that rewards and empowers people to become business builders while filling pantries with consumables meals that are locally made, nutrition, delicious and perfectly portioned.

Yep! If all goes as I plan, I will be developing my ad agency and possibly a small food vending biz/restaurant. Meetings set to get feedback, so I'm pretty excited!

Look at all these Smoosier Entrepreneurs! Way to go Indiana!

I'm a few months early; just finished the paperwork for Project Vol-IN-teer. 2010 will be the year to market it. Project Vol-IN-teer is designed to help develop and plan service projects for organizations. Originally to be focused on conferences and conventions coming into town who want to leave a footprint by participating in a meaningful community service project. However, have plans to expand to businesses and organizations interested in the same. You provide the people. We'll plan the project. Together, we'll make a difference. It's brand new, so any feedback from Smoosiers would be great.
