Good morning AIGA. For those of you freelancing, I wanted to post some information on an upcoming class you might find helpful. It's called The Business of Freelance.

Hello local AIGA peeps! I know you may have seen me at several SOD events, donning a Formula One jacket complete with Keebler Elf on my sleeve, but alas you may not know who I am. I'm Steven, a recent graduate of Herron and a gentleman who is organizing several online personas into one cohesive unit. In the meantime, I am seeking work of different kinds, much of which would fit in the categories here: http://www.shepriffic.com/pf/. Just as well I am going to give some personal and/or theoretical projects a go in my downtime.

Thank you for your time, and perhaps talk with you soon!

Hey everyone. My startup company Pocket Tales is looking to fill a couple of open positions. Currently, we're looking for front end designers and developers (web and graphics design, RIA developers). We're building an exciting new company focused on digital children's books. Part-time and full-time positions are available.

To learn more about the positions, visit www.pockettales.com/jobs.html, or if you have any questions send an email to JoinUs@pockettales.com.

Hi All
I am new to Smalller Indiana and as Brian stated below, I also want to associate myself with groups related to my profession.
I am an account manager for Quality Printing. We can do just about anything, but our niche is magazines, poduct catalogs, and high quality marketing materials. Our first focus is on the customer rather it be a designer or the end user.I am looking forward to meeting all of you in the near future. Everbody has been great!! I am going to try to add all of you as friends, and I will keep you updated on the free workshops we have every quarter. If any of you have any questions I can answer for you regarding the print process, please feel free to drop me a note.

Hi All! I'm am trying to broadcast this to as many outlets/groups as possible..as I'm sure we all have been effected by the economy in some way! If anyone knows of any design/creative/marketing type jobs open- please let me know... as I will be officially unemployed in just a few short weeks due to downsizing.. :(.. I have 3 solid years in graphic design working with a variety of clients and types of design including real estate, non-profits, for-profits,and the auto industry. I have a strong knowledge of prepress, any CS version for Mac or PC, direct mail, and magazine layout experience.

Any help is appreciated!! Thanks!!

Help

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.

6. "Blatant self-promotion" is discouraged on SI, and "spam" is not welcome. Please be considerate of your fellow members.

Smaller Indiana is supported by its members, and by corporate sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about sponsorship, please call Pat Coyle at 317 332 7878.
