Welcome, the only requirement is.................

This site is for true people who look at our economy with a simple mind. If you want to join, the only requirement is to clear the mind of what you hear about taxes and look at the hard facts. Money and taxes are not hard to understand. Many people want you to feel stupid and just say "Trust us, we will take care of your tax dollar for you." In the end, where has that gotten us.

I started this group because of my desire for our tax system to change. I will accept all questions and comments. I will accept good debate, but if you open on personal attacks, your done.

This plan is for true shifting of power back to the citizens and away from the government.

Welcome once again.

It is FairTax Friday and I am glad to have found this group on SmallerIndiana. What I appreciate most about the FairTax is that it eliminates the "class warfare" used by politicians against the public for their own gain and empowers citizens.

If interested contact me at scottychamplin@gmail.com Let your voice be heard.

Hey Everyone, I am the Assistant State Director for FairTax Indiana. I encourage everyone to visit infairtax.org and get involved with the Indiana movement to get all of our representatives on board the FairTax.

Is it time to resurrect this? The new Congress won't be easy but, 2010 is not that far off. Here's a BHAG--get 100 million copies or so printed and distributed to every person making more than the $42,000 new tax hike level. Maybe we could convince him to do what is now done to the classic, Think and Grow Rich, a free PDF file so we can distribute it free far and wide.

Boortz's new book is great. Having just done my taxes, I am ready for the FairTax!

It so simple and a beautiful idea. Neil Boortz is right on this one. I bet Mitch Daniels would be in support of this. Does anyone know what his position is?

Great idea, I have read the Fair Tax book (the original one) and love the idea! I always hear people say that it won't work, but I firmly believe it will.

Steve - you might think about renaming the group - Hoosier (or Smoosiers) for Fair Taxation.
