I have the following dates available - Friday the 24th or Sunday the 26th (the Colts play on Monday that week). If we can agree on one of those dates, I will send out an invite to the group.

A hearty group of beer makers arrived for the innaugural meeting of the SI Beer Makers Group on 10/10! I'll publish the notes here sooner or later. Thanks to the Rathskellar for hosting the event! The weather in the Biergarten was delightful . . . perfect for outdoors beer drinking!

Our goal is to produce a batch by Thanksgiving. To do that, we need to start 'cooking' soon! Lou is going to provide production faciilties, Dana has the equipment.

Dana is working on a beer tour. If you're interested in joining us - WELCOME! Just post here and we'll make sure you get the notices re: our upcoming events.

Alright! The inaugural meeting of the SI Beer-makers is tomorrow. I'll be at the Rathskellar around 5:30 and stake out a table in the beergarden...look for a sign.

The 10th is good for me!

I should be able to make it on the 10th for some strategizing. I don't drink beer like I used to but the chemist in me sure loves mixing things together.

Dear Beermaking Buddies,

In honor of Oktoberfest I propose an innaugural Smaller Indiana Beermaking excursion to SI's redoubtable home: The Rathskellar. Would October 10th around 5:30 make sense?

There, I propose we lay plans for actually making some beer!

Let me know.

Okay, so I haven't actually made my own beer, however, I have sat in on many a beer brewing sessions and would love to delve in a bit more deeply!
