Woohoo! Blessing alert!!!

Next week there's a Chocolate, Business & Blues event. Great way to network and there's no charge for attendees!

Well, I had a beauteous and completely out-of-the-blue blessing appear on my doorstep. Two former colleagues contacted me independently about a position with an institute that's an offshoot of my former full-time employer.

I'm pretty sure the universe/divine lined this one up for me because, well, I had the job before I'd even submitted my resume. And the salary they're offering is a very nice step up from what I'd had before.

In addition, the skills I'll be using (translating in-person training to a distance learning model + training trainers to deliver it) are perfect complements for what I do in my own personal business.

Am I still shaking my head over all this? You betcha. Am I thankful I was *so* not in charge of this plan? Again, yes. Am I sure there are even more miracles coming with this? Ooooh yes.

I feel like I heard a knock on my door then, when I went to open it, there was this beautiful present sitting there waiting for me. Thank you thank you thank you! :)

Sarah what a great way to find the sunny side on a potentially cloudy day. What a blessing! :)

I was REALLY agitated today when I found out that I overdrafted my bank account. So I moped around for awhile and my fella kept prodding at me to cheer up. I finally stopped when I realized that I have so many things in my life to be thankful for, one being a guy who doesn't like to see me mopey. Have a great Friday everyone!

Hi folks, someone passed this along by email and I LOVED it.

Hopefully it'll bring a smile to you as well!

Watch as people spontaneously begin dancing in the Liverpool Street Station. :)

The power to our block went off for several hours today. When evening came, since the lights were out, I had the wonderful opportunity to light a candle, settle down, and just drift for a while. It was a blessed vacation from doing. :)
