New inspirational song from India Arie....Beautiful Day...off her latest piece of work. Thankful people follow their dreams and passions, this is a wonderful piece of talent in every way!

I'm loving being able to work from the comfort from my couch. My queen cat, Curious George, is snuggled up next to me and the people dearest to me are only a few digits (by phone) or clicks (by Internet) away. Life is good!

This evening I spoke with a friend who's been going through a difficult few days and I was absolutely knocked over by what she told me. In the middle of her own personal turmoil, she prayed for me - all week long. I felt beyond blessed, humbled. I told her that, to me, this was the greatest gift anyone has ever given me.

May you all be so blessed! :)

Hello All,
I'm so lucky to have a close relationship with my mom. We had dinner tonight at Oakley's. Fancy dinner for no special occasion other than enjoying the experience together. I love you, Mom!

Dear Shannon, Dear All,
This dolphin kiss happened in Bahamas. I also had a magical moment swimming surrounded with three Manta Rays just 88 feet off the beach in Florida!
Magic is abound, when subconscious takes plenty of time to smell the flowers.

Ruth I SO agree with what you said: it's up to us to make our own sunshine. Isn't it wonderful how much help we have?

Here's my happy news for the day: I bought a rebounder about a year ago with the idea that it exercises every single part of your body at once (by applying G force to it). However, this only happens when you get on the blessed piece of equipment. Well, today is my third day in a row that I've bounced - for 20 minutes each time. Svelte Shannon will be making an appearance in the spring. :)

What a wonderful idea, in a media world that seems to find the worst in every corner. I believe that lemons made lemonade and that is just how life works. We make our own sunshine every day.

Wow Jeren, your photo is so inspiring. Where did you swim with the dolphins? Aren't they amazing? Definitely a miracle with fins. :)

See, the world isn't a crap hole after all, is it, ladies? You get what you look for--if you expect ugliness, you will most certainly find it. Look for joy, friendship, and beauty, then there it is. I am fully aware of all the nastiness in the world. When I think of it, though, I choose to see what action I can take to help. Prayer and chanting may be the only action I can take, but I believe they are powerful though I don't see an immediate result. Keep up the peppy energy, chicks!
