I've had several requests for my presentations from BlogIN 2008. I was lucky enough to give two -- Writing Effectively for Blogs (or How too rite gooder blogs then anywon elts) and 12 Grammar and Punctuation Errors That Make You Look. . . Uh, Not So Smart.

My plan is to give these presentations at future conferences and events. So if you have any suggestions or ideas, or God forbid, find any errors, please let me know. Thank you.

Thank you for taking a stand on the much maligned, sentence ending preposition. It reminds of the story about a southerner who stopped a Yankee and asked,"Can you tell me where the store is at?" The Yankee replied, "Excuse me, it is not proper to end a sentence in a preposition." Upon which the southern said "Oh, excuse me. Can you tell me where the store is at, butthead?"

1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.
