I would like to thank Erin for openly admitting that she, too, has tapped into baker's chocolate when desperation strikes. And since I haven't seen it on here yet: Best Chocolate In Town on the tailend of Mass Ave. has the most incredible truffles - its White Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake one is so decadent...there are just no words.

I love chocolate. I recently went to a presenation at Endangered Species Chocolate. Yes I was interested in how they produce it, but I really just wanted some free chocolate!! Yes it is good.

In a moment of quiet desperation last Sunday, I reached for the only chocolate in my house. It was Baker's Secret baking chocolate -– the ultra-bitter kind. I never imagined I’d sink so low as to willingly bite into a hunk of 100% cacao. But I did. Several times. And it got surprisingly easier with each bite. I was glad no one was watching me. (Maybe I should blog about this. Hmmm...)

Went to Cleveland over the weekend for some sporting events, but took my daughter to the Science Museum there right by the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. The museum had a great Chocolate exhibit, which gave a great history on Chocolate, a tasting which was great fun and a shop that featured chocolate from all over the world. Spent a lot more than I usually would at a museum shop but so worth it. I highly reccomend if you would be going to the Cleveland area.

chocolate benefits

quite honestly, I don't need any justification to eat chocolate!

Great group idea- I love the best chocolate in town too. Other favorites are Schakolad Chocolate Factory, and Sweet Things on the Northside of Indy. I don't discriminate, will go to almost any chocolate shop I can find.

Time to go to Walgreens for after easter chocolate sales. I'll stop by to see what's on sale. Usually, it is 75% off. Easter chocolate is typically lower grade (some are not even real chocolate - read the label!) so I only buy the name brands that are just repackaged for the holiday like m&ms and kisses.

I eat chocolate every day... often for breakfast mixed with a blob of creamy peanut butter. So it's no surprise that I'm signing up for Chocoholic Networking.
