Hello all. This has been a great year for me. In July I married the love of my life. Earlier this year we found our dream home. And I started a new career as a Real Estate Consultant at Coldwell Banker in beautiful Greenwood. I would welcome any new friend requests. I am friends with many people in Johnson and Morgan counties. I am eager to network with some great people. This seems like a great site and I look forward to meeting new people, as does my wife.

Carl, also sorry to hear you are in career transition but, looking at your resume you have conquered this before. Interesting website to showcase your talents and when I was in transition which ended just 2 1/2 months ago never knew about that site. You are probably already aware of the Business Professional Exchange www.bpeindy.org and if not please check it out. God will lead you down the path he needs you to follow. Patience is the key as always when we are waiting for his guidance.

Yours in Christ,
Jim Shireman

Carl,

Very sorry to hear about your position being eliminated. In my work with personal finance, your's is a much too common story, with the current constant down-sizings.

Do you know about the Chrisitan Professional Chamber? They have a north side meeting on the 2nd Thursday of the month (I believe) and on the last Wednesday of each month, meet at Piper's on the South Side. I encourgae you to visit a meeting. The website is www.professionalchristianchamber.com
Hope to see you at this month's south side meeting!

Best regards,
Jim Harris

Hello, all. I trust this doesn't fall under the heading of "blatant self-promotion," so here goes.

I'm a dynamic PR/Communications professional and, due to my previous position being eliminated, I am seeking my next opportunity. I'm a career communicator with 16 years in PR, GR, media, and community relations leadership experience, and 14 years of experience as a journalist before that. I'm seeking my next opportunity to make a significant contribution in the PR/GR/MR/CR arenas. The industry is of secondary importance; most important is that the company produces and sells its product or service with the utmost integrity. My resume and work samples are available upon request (contact me at CarlDombek@sbcglobal.net), and at http://www.visualcv.com/carldombek

Thanks!

Hi everyone! I just recently became a Smoosier, so I wanted to introduce myself and say that I am looking forward to getting to know you. :)

God has place on my heart to help drive giving the Churches and Charities/Missions.

My company has started a program we are calling Pledge Match. When a customer comes in, they can pledge 10% of their bill to go for their Church or a Charity/Mission supported by their Church. We ask although do not require that they match that amount. Their match is completely up to them to send in.

I am interested in finding owners of other companies that are interested in how their companies can set-up similar programs. Every company needs to evaluate how they can contribute and where they are led to contribute. I would like to find several companies interested in joining forces to promote helping increase giving to Churches and Charities/Missions.

Maybe you can pledge the profit from a day of the week or month, or maybe it something else that will work for your company.

The response I have received from my companies Pledge Match has been great when customers hear about it. My goal is to help incourage people to give through this program.
