Hello all! Like many of you I am new to this site. I'm a graphic / web designer recently relocated from Chicago. In my career thus far I have had the pleasure of working on diverse projects from corporate logo branding to CD-Rom propgraming. I look forward to the new challenges in Indiana, and to getting to know my creative neighbors.

Ok- here's a comment: posting the same exact solicitation message on a dozen SI groups is SPAM. I know I won't be visiting or using any spammed website or product. IT'S NOT VERY CREATIVE...

hello, there ! Does anyone have an insurance company they are happy with for being an on site contractor? This would be for when I do murals. I also do custom art, (acrylic paintings, mostly). I had insurance through another business, and that's changing, so I'm looking again. I also am looking for good health insurance, either as an independant or an organization I can join to get a group rate. Thanks!

This is great!! I'm looking forward to meeting all the creative people here. I'm currently an Illustrator/interactive designer working out of Indianapolis.

Greetings all! I'm new to the group. I've been working as a technology management professional for a long time, but I've done stints in Interactive and graphic design. Art-wise, I have recently resurrected a webcomic that I created called goKC!. It can be found at www.gokc.tv.

I just finished setting up a free account and put together a gallery. (http://CherylAllenArt.getpatron.net) After fumbling around a little, I figured out the size restrictions for images and got it put together. It seems to run very smoothly and the images post clearly. I will be checking back in to see template designs and how it all comes together.

Hello, everyone! I am posting because I am in need of your expertise. My partner Clay (another smoosier) and I have developed a website called Patron. It is a portfolio creator for artists, designers, photographers, etc to have their own branded site that is easy and affordable to set up, yet still looks like an creative person's site should look. Right now our site is undergoing beta testing (we only have one template active) and we would REALLY appreciate your input. If you have a moment please go to www.getpatron.com, set up a free account, and let us know if there are any things we should be aware of or change.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your help!!!

Hi, new to the group. I co-own a small advertising/design agency in Indianapolis in the Fall Creek Place area - just two doors down from The Goose! Our agency is Matchbook Creative, and you can see what we're all about at www.sparktoignite.com and www.eco-tising.com

I'm looking forward to meeting other creative personalities out there and see what's going on! Have a great day everyone.

John, I'm extremely interested in your project from the combination of preservation and green aspect. Those are my combined areas of interest and I will be interested in reading the IBJ story to see how you fit the two together in your project. I think we are among the few preservationists who are bringing the "green" movement into historic districts. I'd like to see more green developers and homeowners look for solutions that don't necessarily strip out the historic fabric of the building. Kudos on your effort. I look forward to the IBJ story.
