Hi Everybody!
I am a Graphic Design student at the Art Institute of Indianapolis.
Having just moved to the NW side of Indy, I have come to realize that I don't know very many people here and that makes it hard to find good work.

I joined this group to offer my services to any Silk Screen or Sign Print shop in the Indianapolis area who happens to be looking for a hard working individual to take under their wing. If you or anyone that you know is in this industry and trying to find someone to hire, let me know and I will be greatly appreciative!

I'm a freelance technical illustrator looking for some fun assignments. This looks like a great place to connect. There is an incredible amount of talent here. You don't realize how many connections wilt away when you get isolated in a home office. Glad to find this place.

I'm interested in meeting with designers and art directors who have specialized needs for technical graphics and 2D renderings such as catalog art, assembly manuals, diagrams, and maps. You can see some of my work at www.pixlplay.com Please feel free to email me or forward my info on to anybody who may be interested. Thanks.

Greetings and salutations!
My name is Travis Neal and I am an Indiana artist. I work in many different media, but I joined SMALLERINDIANA for my MURAL work. I've done a few walls around town and I love it. Never felt the need to meet any other artists in my younger days- pretty much kept to myself. Now that I'm older and wiser, I've come to realize that we can all benefit from interaction with other artists...I even hope to mentor a young artist someday.

Anyway, I'm very happy to be here and part of the group...What now? :)+)

Hello, all! I am a self-taught artist working mainly in oils on canvas. I thought this would be a great group to keep an eye on what is going on in the state and pick up a few ideas. I have only lived in Indiana a short time so I am always looking for ways to connect with others who share my interest in art.

Hi everyone, I'm a graphic designer/art director who is looking to move back to the midwest and I'm torn between Indy and Chicago. However, a job is necessary to actually uproot my family (you know, insurance, security, all the tangentials). How is the creative job market in Indy? Boston can feel the recession pretty hard, lots of layoffs with everyone competing for the few gigs that are out there. I'd love to hear what others in the advertising industry (agencies or in-house) think about this. Any advice you have is much appreciated as well! Thanks.

Hello everyone,
I'm so excited that I've found a group like this on SI! I enjoy connecting with local people who share my interests. Arts and crafts are actually my hobby, but I'm always open to new ideas and I wouldn't turn down the opportunity to earn extra income by selling my work. Why not make money off your hobby? :)
I can't wait to meet everyone and see where this group takes me.

hello, Don.
Does your company print giclees, on canvas or on paper? If so, would this workshop relate to that? JK
