Making people and ideas findable

I have a meeting in Fort Wayne at the end of April and I am looking for a good place to eat, sit and chat with about 5 other people.

There are coming from all over the city, so I don't think location will be an issue.

I love to hear your suggestions.

It is too bad you are not coming on April 25th from noon to five- that is the date of the 1st Annual GreenFEST in Fort Wayne. Green business, services, and individuals dedicated to sustainable living will be on hand. The mayor of Fort Wayne, Tom Henry will issue a proclamation at noon. Three Rivers Velo Club will ride their bikes into the FESt at 12:30 loaded down with canned goods for Community Harvest. Admittance is a canned good or non-perishable food item which will be donated to Community Harvest. Speakers in the areas of alternative transportation, local food, sustainable water, energy efficiency, and waste management will take the stage- and a surprise finale concert will follow Cathy Serrrano, one of our area's most proficient folk guitarist. Food, a talent display by All Martial Arts Academy and the Garden Angels Project will also be included.
Lots going on at GreenFEST '09! Wish you could be there!

As far as a great restaurant? Case de'Angelo, any one of their locations if fantastic!
Depends on what you are after.

My company has gone to Granite City and JK O'Donnells before. I enjoy both those places and they have great atmospheres.

Hope that helps,

Megan
Cork and Clever and Chops are favorites and Hall's Dtown Ft. Wayne.
Club Soda is a great place to meet. I took some vendors there about a month ago. They loved it. I also love JK O'Donnell's but it is packed and loud for lunch. Great food, though.

I also agree with Megan on Granite City.
Great question for a city of restaurants and steeples.......!!!

For a first class restaurant that you can sit and talk and not be bothered by lots of action, you should consider Park Place which is located one block east of our city county building. It over looks our downtown park.

Next Club Soda, which is located in an older commercial building that has been distinctly modified for trendy restaurant, is located on Superior St (downtown) which is about one block North of Park Place. Club Soda is a trendier place, Prime rib, steaks, fish, and martini bar with live jazz.

Paula's, which is located about one mile West of downtown on Main St., has a great fish and steak menu in an older updated building.

These are upscale restaurants but not necessarily upscale out of range pricing but all good places to spend an evening with friends. The most relaxed and quietest is Park Place.

Now for a great restaurant that is also downtown and next to Club Soda is the Hall’s Gas House, great food and sometimes there is music. Upstairs of this locally owned restaurant is another restaurant, Takaoka of Japan, steak, fish, seafood, prepared and entertained at your table by a Chef.

Bon Appetite!!!
