Smaller Indiana

Making people and ideas findable

Hello! My name is Jena, and I'm an organizer with Repower America. We're opening our new office in Indianapolis next week, where we will have our staff from around the state present to meet individuals interested in our organization in Indiana.

One year ago this month, our chairman, former Vice-President Al Gore, challenged all Americans to "Repower America." He asked each of us to "join with me to call on every candidate, at every level, to accept this challenge - for America to be running on 100 percent zero-carbon electricity in 10 years. It's time for us to move beyond empty rhetoric. We need to act now."

With our new Indiana field operations, we're bringing this challenge to the Hoosier state, joining many other green organizations and businesses here fighting for action. We hope you will find time to join us in our celebratory office grand opening next Thursday, July 30, at 5:30 pm.

I am an environmental scientist working as an alternative energy entreprenuer in Northern Indiana. I am struggling a bit right now for time and money so this is a bit far for me to drive, but I have supported Repower America for some time. I actually wrote the 7th blog on your site when it came out a few years ago.

I would like to touch base with you and also see how to get your organization get involved with the projects in energy efficiency and alternative energy that we are working on in Northern Indiana.

Please contact me personally at your convenience -

Best!

1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.

6. Smaller Indiana is supported by its members, and by corporate sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about sponsorship, please call Pat Coyle at 317 332 7878.
