Shoup's Hogburger will be featured on QVC on Sunday evening August 9th at 6:00pm. The Shoup sisters from Indiana will be guest hosts on the program. Tune in to support your fellow Hoosiers. Also, stop by the Indiana State Fair Grandstands (Section 6) to taste this new burger.

Since we are in the full swing of grilliing season, let's talk about desserts a little. Grilled peaches and bananas are incredible on the grill. honey yogurt on cooled peaches and a brown sugar drizzle on grilled bananas over ice cream hit the spot. Anyone else?????

It won't matter- it will be grilled. My wife got me a couple of paella pans for my birthday late last fall. We broke them in on a gas grill down south, while in weather more conducive to socializing around the cooking, so I'm looking forward to using wood and charcoal here at home.

Time for everyone to get ready for the Spring Grilling Season. What is the first thing you cook on your grill after a long winter?

Tonight I am grilling and I'll prove it! Check out my page for the next 12 hours to see the proof!

I have to agree with Chef- I know there were good discussions around Thanksgiving, but did anyone fire up the grill for Christmas or New Years? We did a standing rib roast for Christmas and a turkey breast for New Years (didn't get any leftovers from the one donated to the family get together in November...). Look at grilling anytime over the next two months as an act of defiance, if nothing else ;-)

Just joined the group and I am a little surprised to see the lack of comments once the cold weather hit. GRILLING IS NOT A SEASONAL SPORT! Of course I grill on the Big Green Egg so cold weather does not effect my end result. If you want to know why I love this "grill" so much here is a link with some more information. I will be slow cooking tomorrow and will post my recipe then.
