Since we're talking faves, Oishi Sushi is great at 10th and Shadeland. Yes, a good sushi place on the east side. Who da thunk?

The Tip Top Tavern located 151 W 14th ST corner of Capitol and 14th ST. I was surprised on the great food they offered, I had the Rueben and it was wonderful. The lunch specials are nice. The staff are great !! Keep up the good work guies !

Earth House is OK, but it should have more tie-dye and less flannel. The 60s version of the hippy was much more colorful.

For anyone looking for great vegetarian or vegan cuisine, all dishes are made from scratch, Jenxie's at Earth House has a menu full of flavorful and creative recipes. The Mushroom Burger is the best I have ever had, the soups are wonderful , and the Falafel is a must try!! They are located in the basement of the Earth House at 237 N. East Street - phone 317-637-2716.

We went to Jockamo's Saturday evening and they have an AMAZING new seasonal pizza. It's called the Tecumsa and features venison sausage. It's a great pie that should not be missed. I also recommend that you switch out the tomatoes for banana peppers as it really makes the flavors spark wonderfully.

Great new sandwich and pizza place on the south side: Sammy's Pizza. For their opening, they are giving away bread sticks. I had the deluxe pizza with salad bar. AWESOME!
