Hi PK

Thanks for sharing your new website. I like the simple layouts and ease to get to the other pages by clicking on the picture on the homepage; I guess you are going to add to the"1001 Portraits" page as you acquire more pictures. Also I read your blog - Ahh..I recognized Chicago Chinatown! Our favorite place for a day trip and where I used to (and still do -although less frequently) get my ingredients/grocery shopping. Since you have so many of Mira's pictures, maybe a page dedicated to her-like "My family" or something like that? I also thought that perhaps the pages can do with a little more colors since many of your photos are in black and white. Just sharing my thoughts! :)

Thanks for your comments Faith! I plan to add more color to the site as I work through my portfolio. I just wanted to get it up and running since I have been procrastinating. We love China Town and had a lot of fun, Chicago is a fun city overall.

The scrolling "gallery" on the about me page is awesome. How was that created? I've seen something sort of like that before using Joomla. Anyways I always love your stuff so seeing more on the site is cool. My favorite is the street work. Are you doing this site to gain some business? I'm sure your pricing is very flexible depending but I would maybe throw a little line in about being "for hire" just so people know this isnt just a personal site. I'd assume its not just a personal site but thats me assuming

Chris - appreciate your comments. I love street photography because of the challenges it presents. I am thinking about doing portraits mostly but with a very defined style, some may like it others not so much. As far as the scrolling/spinning gallery goes, I just did a Goggle search for some code snippets for Flickr API and did it myself.

Hi, PK

I like the web site: easy to use and simple, yet appealing.

The one thing that strikes me immediately is while the quality of the photography is very good, it seems limited to ethnic subjects. I know some photographers like to narrowly target a customer base, so if that's your goal, fantastic. Otherwise, my suggestion is to show other subjects.

Thanks for your comments Curt. My primary focus will be ethnic subjects for now because that is why I understand best. If others like my style/work I will be more than happy to expand my focus, but I am also realistic about the market and how saturated it has become in recent months - just stroll through IMA on any given day.
