Here's a source for information on health and fitness: www.acsm.org. This is the American College of Sports Medicine, which happens to be headquartered here in Indy. ACSM is the major organization worldwide for experts in exercise science and related areas.
Check out the new initiative Exercise is Medicine (on www.acsm.org, look in the Focus section of the home page.) May is Exercise is Medicine Month, and this site has resources to help everyone become and stay fit--and enjoy the benefits that come with it.
In the interest of full disclosure, ACSM is my client and also my former employer. They turned my wife and me on to a healthier lifestyle and I wanted to share that with this group.
