Head to "The Market" with Indy Hub!

Join Indy Hub as we explore the sights and smells of the newly renovated City Market! Don't miss your chance to learn more about an Indianapolis treasure. Chef Ben Lehrman from Clark Appliance will show-off his skills in the demo kitchen and provide yummy appetizers just for you. A cash bar will be available along with brews to sample from Budweiser. Tours of the building will be given by Indiana Historic Landmarks and WFYI's new HD radio station will be streamed live for your listening pleasure. Meet some of the Market's vendors and discover their wares -- Moody Meats, Constantino's Produce, and Abbott's Also Candy Shop will all be on hand. Don't miss the great food, fun, and your chance to check out the City Market!

Some quick facts about our City Market:

The original structure was built for $29,225 in 1886

The City Market was the Indianapolis' first grocery store
In 1974 the Indianapolis City Market was placed on the National Register of Historic Places

I hope this is an appropriate post (still a newbie to Smaller Indiana). Indy Hub is a perfect group for some focus groups I'm doing to explore Hoosier’s restaurant and eating habits. Individuals will receive $40 for participating in the one-hour focus group. They will be held in Greenwood and Castleton on July 22 and July 23, respectively. Times include 11 a.m.-noon, 12:30-1:30 p.m., 5-6 p.m. and 6:30-7:30 p.m.

I have a short form to fill out, but am not sure how to post it. Although, on the SI home page I posted a message and had luck posting it there. You can e-mail me at kelly@baisecommunications.com and I can send you the form. Thanks. I hope to see some Indy Hub members at the focus groups.
