Singer, songwriter Lauren Zettler is a fine musician with a fresh voice.

Indulge me - I know Lauren work well... she is my former student :-) To give you an indication of Lauren's gifts and dedication: she performed a solo piano recital of concert level piano repertoire in high school, set her sights on Berkelee School of Music, and finished her 4 year music degree in 3 years.

She composes, sings and employs her acoustic guitar for accompaniment. Lauren's music making is from such an honest place in her soul - a genuine/authentic voice. Musically sophisticated, she knows what she is doing, and why; at the same time her sound is an easy groove.

Her Carmel concert is a must see/must listen. Even as a teenager, Lauren Zettler's actions have exhibited a charitable heart. Asking for nothing in return, she would wake up early on a Saturday morning and go downtown to help Lucious Newsome at The Lord's Pantry.

I look forward to supporting the Red Cross Indiana Flood Relief efforts next Friday, enjoy the music stylings of singer songwriter Lauren Zettler, and gather with friends! Consider this a personal invitation...See you there!

Lynn,
If Lauren is looking for album work I would like to be able to help her.
My company is a full serice CD/DVD replicator with over 21 years in business. We do all of our work in our own plants and are licensed by ALL the patenet holders on optical disc. This is very important as the license holders can come back on you for royalties if your replicator hasn't paid them or isn't licensed.

We also have a sister company "The Hit Department" which is a full service digital audio studio. They have a unique web sight for musicians and music lovers at www.thehitdepartment.com from which they do a weekly internet music show and have a new social sight for musicians and fans. This would be a great place to promote Lauren's music.

Singer/Songwriter Lauren Zettler to Return Home for Red Cross Fundraiser

New York – Last October, Lauren Zettler left her job at Universal Music Group to pursue her dream of becoming a singer/songwriter. Adding friends to her MySpace page, writing and recording songs in her New York apartment and booking shows at venues around New York City were just a few of Lauren’s short term goals, but returning home to perform for friends and family has been at the top of her list for quite some time. When weather caused major flooding in central Indiana this past Spring, she decided a fundraiser to aid Indy flood relief was the perfect opportunity to bring everyone she knew together. All proceeds from her show next month will benefit the Indianapolis area Red Cross.

WHO: Lauren Zettler
WHEN: Friday, August 15, 7-9pm
TICKETS: Free event. Donations collected for Indy Flood Relief/Red Cross
WHERE: Kingswood Neighborhood Cul-de-Sac (11142 St. Charles Place, Carmel, IN 46033)
In the event of rain, please call 317-815-4647 for location update.

Hi, I'm new here. Thought I might introduce myself. I don't know. Do you
guys get personal here? I dropped out of Ball State, worked my way into a management position at IPL, then dropped that to move to Nashville Tenn to work as a singer songwriter. After a year of Holiday Inn livin, I came back home to start a family and open an Art Foundry - bronze casting - sculptures, awards, with my new husband. 10 yrs of hard labor and lots of heavy metal in
my body larter, I got into the family business (finally), real estate. Oh, and
chelation therapy. I've still got 6 guitars left that I cannot let go and a Fender
Twin, and the Fender Juniors - wow. I used a Junior to play at the Alotropy
Art Show when it was at Jillian's downtown and blew away the guy I was playing with. That little baby Junior tube amp with the fat switch really kicks it. Great tone in case anybody's been looking to buy one. I recommend them. And I highly recommend the little Vox Valvetronix too. But, I guess
I don't have anything to announce unless someone is looking for a home
studio anchored by a Mackie 1604 VLZ and an Adat XT, all kinds of
DSPs and tube preamps, etc, and great sounding studio monitors included. I do need to sell it all and give my lower level back to my husband for awhile.
I don't have any time to use it anyhow. You are welcome to sample a few of my songs. I loaded them onto my home page here at smallerindiana, if you like. I hope I'm not out of line here. Please tell me if I am. I checked out the guitar group, but it seems to be all about a video game. And I swear, I've only had 2 beers.
