WYFI Public Radio is seeking input on a catchy name for its HD-2 channel (coming soon). Now through Aug. 17, they are conducting a “Name that Channel” contest. Sample the new HD service on-line (www.wfyi.org/radio) and then submit your suggested station name. The winner gets a state-of –the-art HD radio. Check it out!

Comment by Kelly Young on July 7, 2008 at 2:47pm: I hope this is an appropriate post (still a newbie to Smaller Indiana), but I figured what a better way to reach people than through the marketing group.

I am a PR consultant and currently working with one of my clients to conduct focus groups to explore Hoosier’s restaurant and eating habits. We are looking for individuals to participate in this one hour study to help us learn more. Participants will receive $40. Focus groups will be held in Greenwood and Castleton on July 22 and July 23, respectively. Times include 11 a.m.-noon, 12:30-1:30 p.m., 5-6 p.m. and 6:30-7:30 p.m.
