I am a new subscriber to Smaller Indiana and also this group. I just started reading the comment wall and noticed the post by Scott Emmett regarding The Patriot Post website. This website is my "homepage"! It should be required reading for any True American Patriot!

Have we all fallen silent. I have not seen very much activity here as of late. As the health care bill comes ever closer to the floor for full debate the silence is deafening. Hopefully we did not run out of energy in August to fight this battle. Tomorrow's elections in NY,VA, and NJ could open some eyes and maybe rejuvenate the party.
Let us be ever vigilant, especially as the holidays draw near the we do not let them slip in Card Check, Cap and Trade, Health Care as they run out the doors of congress.

If you have not seen it, I can highly recommend The Patriot Post. One of the best resources I know for conservative thought. The website is http://patriotpost.us/. Along with a first-rate website, they publish the Post and Digest three times a week and it's free. Great stuff

Kyle, your thoughts are well taken. I would love to see you pitch that idea to him. I unfortunately caught him on larry king live one night and a caller to the show asked him what he does to give back to society and I watched him stutter and stammer over his words for about 20 seconds before he muttered something. He loves the ides of hating capitalism but he has made his life what it is because of it. Funny huh??

If Michael Moore is so against capitalism why does he charge for you to see his movies? Why not give these documentaries to PBS and run them for free? How about we have free movie day for everyone who is unemployed and can't afford a ticket. Just show your unemployment form and your in. For that matter free soda and popcorn too. Lets see what ol' Mikey thinks about that. Just thinking out loud.

Hysterical, and probably an initiative under the new gov't healthcare program! Well, you know how it is....trying to make a quick comment while working. I never have been real efficient at multi-tasking, has anyone really?

Pam! I hadn't heard of this new obamacare policy: ...handicapped people disassembled for parts that could be used by others...?!! Where will it stop!!

(PLEASE NOTE: Tongue is firmly planted in cheek.)
Eric Augustus Comment by Eric Augustus on September 30, 2009 at 11:31am
Your absolutely right Pam. There are many more cons than there are pros to this program.
Pam Riggins Comment by Pam Riggins on September 30, 2009 at 11:29am
...and what about all the non-for-profits and handicapped people who would die to have these vehicles? What about a program to have handicapped people disassemble for parts that could be used by others? There were so many things wrong with this program........so many missed opportunities, so little thought given.....
