Making people and ideas findable

I noticed something the other day. All of the democrat presidential signs, banners, buttons, bumper stickers...only say "Obama '08". Not "Obama/Biden". In the past, this is what I saw "Clinton/Gore", "Gore/Lieberman". Is that significant? What does that say to you? Do you think that Biden will get the boot in October and Hillary will be brought on?

I noticed the same thing for a while, too, Jim. But as of late, I'm starting to see more bumper stickers and yard signs that say Obama/Biden. But it certainly would be interesting if Biden did get the boot! It could still happen.

Did you get your McCain/Palin sign? I was able to go our county's GOP office and get mine - right after I voted this past Monday. It was the last day to register. A lot of people in line. I waited for over 45 minutes to vote.

There was a young man who was trying to vote but didn't have ID. He kept yelling, "If you get into your computers, you'll find me. Just let me vote!" Fortunately, the lady in charge knew the law and very politely and professionally kept repeating, "You cannot vote unless you have the required identification."

It was comforting to see the process work here in Fort Wayne.

I'm not sure, but I have been doing a little research on a u-tube clip I saw on Obama not being a natual citizen of the US.
There was an attorney who filed suit over this in PA. It appears that Obama's birth certificate has been modified. How is that going to work if proven to be true? How the heck has he made it this far without producing the documents?

I've heard something similar. It won't go anywhere, though, even if it is true. Obama is not to be questioned. Nothing is to stand in his way.

If I had the chance, like Joe the Plumber, to ask Obama something, it would be this: What is it like to be perfect? To make decisions that are never questioned? To have relationships that are never suspect? To be without flaw and to always speak the truth?

Obama, the perfect presidential candidate, soon to the be the Perfect President.

Another thing to consider...

This will make you re-think: A Trivia question in Sunday School:
How long is the beast allowed to have authority in Revelations?

Revelations Chapter 13 tells us it is 42 months, and you know what that is.
Almost a four-year term of a Presidency.

All I can say is 'Lord, Have mercy on us!'

According to The Book of Revelations the anti-Christ is: The anti-Christ will
be a man, in his 40's, of MUSLIM descent, who will deceive the nations with
persuasive language, and have a MASSIVE Christ-like appeal....the prophecy says
that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace,
and when he is in power, will destroy everything..

Do we recognize this description??

I STRONGLY URGE each one of you to post this as many times as
you can! Each opportunity that you have to send it to a friend or media outlet..do it!
I refuse to take a chance on this unknown candidate who came out of nowhere.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As I was listening to a news program last night, I watched in horror as Barack Obama made the statement with pride. . .'we are no longer a Christian nation; we are now a nation of Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, . . .' As with so many other statements I've heard him (and his wife) make, I never thought I'd see the day that I'd hear something like that from a presidential candidate in this nation. To think our forefathers fought and died for the right for our nation to be a Christian nation--and to have this man say with pride that we are no longer that. How far this nation has come from what our founding fathers intended it to be.
I hope that each of you will do what I'm doing now--send your concerns, written simply and sincerely, to the Christians on your email list. With God's help, and He is still in control of this nation and all else, we can show this man and the world in November that we are, indeed, still a Christian nation!
Please pray for our nation!
Biden to Supporters: "Gird Your Loins", For the Next President "It's Like Cleaning Augean Stables"
October 20, 2008 7:35 AM (http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/10/biden-to-suppor.html)
ABC News' Matthew Jaffe Reports: Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., on Sunday guaranteed that if elected, Sen. Barack Obama., D-Ill., will be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power and he will need supporters to stand by him as he makes tough, and possibly unpopular, decisions.
"Mark my words," the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."
"I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate," Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. "And he's gonna need help. And the kind of help he's gonna need is, he's gonna need you - not financially to help him - we're gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right."
Not only will the next administration have to deal with foreign affairs issues, Biden warned, but also with the current economic crisis.
"Gird your loins," Biden told the crowd. "We're gonna win with your help, God willing, we're gonna win, but this is not gonna be an easy ride. This president, the next president, is gonna be left with the most significant task. It's like cleaning the Augean stables, man. This is more than just, this is more than – think about it, literally, think about it – this is more than just a capital crisis, this is more than just markets. This is a systemic problem we have with this economy."
The Delaware lawmaker managed to rake in an estimated $1 million total from his two money hauls at the downtown Sheraton, the same hotel where four years ago Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., clinched the Democratic nomination. Despite warning about the difficulties the next administration will face, Biden said the Democratic ticket is equipped to meet the challenges head on.
"I've forgotten more about foreign policy than most of my colleagues know, so I'm not being falsely humble with you. I think I can be value added, but this guy has it," the Senate Foreign Relations chairman said of Obama. "This guy has it. But he's gonna need your help. Because I promise you, you all are gonna be sitting here a year from now going, 'Oh my God, why are they there in the polls? Why is the polling so down? Why is this thing so tough?' We're gonna have to make some incredibly tough decisions in the first two years. So I'm asking you now, I'm asking you now, be prepared to stick with us. Remember the faith you had at this point because you're going to have to reinforce us."
"There are gonna be a lot of you who want to go, 'Whoa, wait a minute, yo, whoa, whoa, I don't know about that decision'," Biden continued. "Because if you think the decision is sound when they're made, which I believe you will when they're made, they're not likely to be as popular as they are sound. Because if they're popular, they're probably not sound."
Biden emphasized that the mountainous Afghanistan-Pakistan border is of particular concern, with Osama bin Laden "alive and well" and Pakistan "bristling with nuclear weapons."
"You literally can see what these kids are up against, our kids in that region," Biden said in recalling when his helicopter was forced down due to a snowstorm there. "The place is crawling with al Qaeda. And it's real."
"We do not have the military capacity, nor have we ever, quite frankly, in the last 20 years, to dictate outcomes," he cautioned. "It's so much more important than that. It's so much more complicated than that. And Barack gets it."
After speaking for just over a quarter of an hour, Biden noticed the media presence in the back of the small ballroom.
"I probably shouldn't have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is here," he joked.
"All kidding aside, these guys have left us in a God-awful place," he then said of the Bush regime, promptly wrapping up his remarks. "We have the ability to straighten it out. It's gonna take a little bit of time"
I went through Martinsville, Bloomington, Nashville, Bargersville etc. today. Saw enough Obama/Biden signs to say that they're out there. On his show this morning, Greg Garrison noted that when he went to Nashville this weekend he noticed that many of the yards sporting Democrat candidates did NOT have Obama signs. I didn't think that could be true, but it was. I LOVED Biden's comment saying that if Obama is elected there will be some world leader who will create a crisis to test him within six months. Hmmmm. I thought that if Barry was elected EVERYONE would like us again.
