Making people and ideas findable

Country Mouse City Mouse is ready to branch out into retail! I spent yesterday delivering our first orders to Edibles in Irvington, and Goose the Market. I also dropped off samples and product/pricing lists at a couple other places. We don't want to saturate the market, so we're really looking for one awesome place in each area to carry our stuff.
What is YOUR favorite specialty market? Where should we go?

We go to Edibles on occasion. It helps that I live a little more than half a mile from there. That's the only place I would have mentioned. Congratulations on getting there. You should consider going to the Irvington Farmer's Market as a way to promote your presence in Edibles.

I'm partial to the Good Earth in the Broad Ripple area. Maybe it's because my husband used to work there, but I also love that it's been so local for so long.

Kirsten,
Agreed. I love Good Earth, but I always feel really claustrophobic in there. We're at Kincaid's and Joes now, as well as the Carmel Farmers Market. We're also going to be available through Farm Fresh Delivery next week. My next big task is Bloomingfoods.
Erik,
We ARE doing Irvington Farmers Market now!! See you August 10th!

Oh, and by the way... I read your blog, and I've seen your love affair with LGG. Tell Ron to carry my stuff, will ya? *wink*

I'm at Goose the Market every other week or so (I work just on the other side of Fall Creek), and based on the description of your products on your website, I will definitely look for your stuff next time I'm there!

Good Hibachi Restaurant 1 Reply

Hi all, I'm looking for a good hibachi place to take my friends to when they come into town this weekend. Preferably not Benihana. Any suggestions?
