Hello all!

I'm excited to report that I have received a year-long stipend for the arts provided with the support from the Historic Downtown Rising Sun Program, the Rising Sun Redevelopment Commission and the Rising Sun Regional Foundation.

I will be using the award to rent gallery space for Photography by Kendal within the Pendleton Art Center in downtown Rising Sun, IN. My fine art photography received its Indiana Artisan status last June.

Collaborating with fellow Rising Sun pen & ink artist Lane Siekman, we will be opening Sunburt Studio within the Pendleton located at 201 Main Street in Rising Sun. The hours will be Wed-Fri Noon to 5pm and Sat. 10am-5pm. First Friday's 'til 9:00pm. 812.438.9900.

Currently I am prepping the space for painting, having once been home to winery. Somehow I  think I want to start out with a neutral background rather than yellow, green and purple! :)

Opening sometime in Feb., I hope you'll join us in Rising Sun to check out our new space.

In the meantime, you can view my work on my website at http://www.photographybykendal.com and Lane's through his Facebook page at http://on.fb.me/hCUO02.

Hello. Sadly, my PR/Grant Administration job in tourism was elimated in Switzerland County last Friday.

If anyone has any job leads, I would greatly appreciate hearing them. My other experience includes events, marketing, advertising, writing and photography.

I am also willing to work out of my house and travel to another area a couple of times a week if necessary.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this something you are doing through the Chamber? If not, you might give them a call and see if they would like to get involved. Just a thought.

I am the owner of Studio 926 Design(studio926.net) based in Columbus, Indiana. As we are exhibitors at the 2010 Indiana Small Business Fair, I seen the link to this site and decided to check into it. We really specialize in small to medium business graphic design, web design, web development, and ecommerce consulting. Starting this year we have also added web hosting to our range of services.

We are looking for other businesses to network with, and even potential clients via this website. If you would like more information regarding our services please visit our website at http://www.studio926.net or give me a call at (812) 764-2890. I personally have been working in the fields of graphic and web design/development since 1999 and would be happy to help you.

Have a great week everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this post.

Do you want a 'powerteam' of others who know EXACTLY how to help you grow your business and earn more?

Networking can be a powerful marketing tool in your business....when it's really focused on helping you earn more in your business, and isn't just simply a social event.

Join Angela Phebus and Luke W. Russell for a free weekly PowerCircle meeting at the Hampton Inn in Greensburg (on Highway 421) at 2 p.m. on Thursdays.

This "PowerCircle" focus is on meeting new people and working together to become powerful referral partners. This is NOT just a social hour; if you're serious about building your business, we invite you to be there.

There is no charge to belong to this group. We just ask that you help grow this group, which will help grow all of our business networks.
