Smaller Indiana

Making people and ideas findable

Wow, 19 folks showed up to the December 1st Meeting. That's a record turnout. Special thanks goes to James Paden, owner of web designer site Xemion.com, who did a spectacular job of schooling us on search engine optimization techniques for our websites.

Since the majority of businesses are local, one of the tips was to ensure you register with Google Local! It's free and Google loves displaying their local map results before ANY organic search results.

To monitor and assist your search engine placement, be sure to register your website(s) with Google Webmasters.

Thanks also to our gracious hosts, Jason and Chris of The Bean Cup, the best coffee house in Indianapolis!

Great meeting! Big crowd, meaty content, and some good laughs, as always. And that Lorraine Ball, coming all the way from northern Indiana to be with us. Amazing.
