I only have one requirement for any place we choose. They have to have one of those little handle things behind the bar that pour tasty beverages into my glass. Beyond that, I'm not all that picky.

The tall clear plastic fancy barley and hop dispensing levers? Deal. Add the 1st gathering to your Google Calendar via the button on the B.E.E.R. page, and that will "set it in stone"!

FYI, the place that I coordinated the first event at, Dancing Bears, .. has euchre on Wednesdays. I don't know about you, but I LOVE euchre!

I've never been to the Barrel. Sounds like I've been missing out! I just got my weekly email from Meetup.com and this event was in there....

I have next Thursday and Friday available. Usually on my free Thursdays (2 a month), I go to Ike's for the quarter beer.. but if you guys want to go to Oaken Barrel, I can do that instead... Just let me know and I'll begin planning our meetup for next week!

Did you say .25 cent beer? Oh, my......that is how trouble gets started. Do we have to meet at place on the south side? I like Spencer's Tavern as well.

We started this as a South/West group because we are all in this area.. If the group agrees, I'm not opposed to going downtown, but definitely no Northside for me...

I think I am of the same mind. (Note: this is me whining, but I do get sick of tracking to go do business event on the north side all the time.) Downtown works for me.
