Sorry guys, leaving Smaller Indiana for good. See the email I sent out for more information (copied here):

Hello All,

I wanted to let everyone know that I am leaving Smaller Indiana after more than 18 months on the site. I've posted thousands of posts, joined numerous groups, and been an active member of the site throughout.

However, I refuse to be a part of a community that openly allows some members to personally attack other members. On a handful of occasions discussions have become heated and I have been called nasty names. While there is a rule in place "no name-calliing", Pat refuses to enforce this rule.

This is not the type of community I want to be a part of.

For those who would like to continue staying in touch with me, I'll refer you to two things:

www.ChrisFlener.com is my personal website with information and links to my blogs, websites, etc.

ctflener@LucentConcepts.com is my personal email address that you are welcome to use. You might want to save it now as I don't know if messages get saved after a person leaves the website.

Finally, I want to thank all of those who have made this site enjoyable for me. I've made some good friends, and enjoyed most of my time here.

I look forward to staying in touch.

Thanks,

Chris

If you guys have an email address, I'd love to send you my two newest window decal designs! (we create and print window decals for your car or truck) I think you'd like them!! I'll just send you the file though.

I agree with Chris that it might make sense to see what we could get for Ankiel. But I love him as a player. Great arm, great bat, plays with heart.

This rotation is looking pretty solid, too.

Not only in first Chris, but man has that pitching staff been putting up some amazing numbers! Tops in MLB in ERA. Not to jinx them but to not have to stretch their bullpen now is phenomenal. Keep them fresh. Just as long as they don't over pitch the starters.

We are finally back on the winning way (of course playing the Cubs can do that to anyone!).

The pitching is looking exceptional (like the beginning of the season), and we should be getting Ludwick and Ankiel back this next week. Things are looking good.

Trade Options:

Does anyone else think we need to trade Ankiel?

I do...We aren't getting rid of Ludwick and Rasmus (Rasmus has too much upside to get rid of). We won't be trading the pitching coaches son (Duncan), that only leave Ankiel of the 4 outfielders. I suggest let Ankiel play as much as possible when he returns to get his swing back...the package a deal with tyler greene and maybe a pitching prospect in the minors for 1 of 2 things. 1. Ace Starter (not a project, but an Ace, like Peavy...who has said he would like to play in St. Louis). 2. A top SS with good hitting.

We are set in the OF, 1B, 3B (when Glaus returns), 2B (Skip and Ryan), and C. We have good utility guys (Barden, Ryan, Skip if flexible, and Greene). The Bullpen is pretty salty right now too (Motte, Perez, and Franklin closing things out).

Thoughts?
