Making people and ideas findable

Has anyone been back to campus in a while? I graduated in 98 and it has changed dramatically since I was there – 4 new buildings and a lot more in the works. The last couple of Presidents have made a lot of headway on changing the school for the better and Dr. Pitts is no different. She was by far the best candidate for the job (I was on one of the committees for the hiring process to make recommendations to the board). Now if they can successfully brand themselves over the next few years (Uindy instead of U of I) I think the value of our diplomas only goes up. Thoughts?

I just graduate in May 2007 with my MBA and grew up less than a mile from the campus and yes there has been drmatic improvement for the better. I am very pround to be an alum of UIndy, and I was a student when the UIndy branding began, and it took me soem time to get use to it.

I taught at UIndy from 1999 - 2001 and really enjoyed the experience. Had a chance to come back to Campus in 2005 and was blown away by the external changes, but was delighted to find much of the culture I loved was still intact.

I try to get back on campus at least once or twice a year, but guess it has been quite a while since the last visit, really.

It has taken me a while to get used to the re-branding as well, but now I like it.

It's a great school, and I had a fantastic experience there. I've very proud to be a UIndy/UofI alum!

I was just on campus a few days ago and the new Esch Hall expansion is amazing! The admissions and financial aid offices are beautiful and the new communication studios are a dream! They built on to the student center while I was there, so I can't complain, but I love that it keeps getting better every year!
