On Thursday, April 12, I'm leading a workshop for writers of all ages and skill levels, offering tips and techniques for self-editing. This is open to the public and free of charge, but advance registration is required.
This program is being offered by The Service Center, a community arts and culture initiative of BigCar.org, and it will run from 5:15 to 7 p.m. The building is in front of Lafayette Square Mall.
I've spoken to writers' groups and have presented at The Write Stuff seminars in the past, but it's my first time to present at this new venue. The Service Center is advertising the program but I thought I'd reach out to writer friends to spread the word, as well. It's really more fun with a large group, as it's an interactive session.
