Strong Opinions

"Radical Islam has overplayed its hand again, creating popular resentment escalating to political backlash. We're the ones winning this struggle across the board, and not only should Obama ignore the offer of a truce as we press forward in Afghanistan and Pakistan (it would only allow Asia to step in for the oil money) — he…See More

My Continuing Prayer for Bowe Bergdahl

Almighty God and Heavenly Father, Lord of Creation and Master of the Universe,I lift up to you Lord our brother in Christ Pfc. Bowe Bergdahl, who has been taken hostage in Afghanistan. Lord, first and foremost I pray you will place your hand of protection over him and shield his body from harm and his mind from despair and fear. I pray Lord that you will give him a spirit of calm even as he is held in the enemy's camp. Lord I pray that you will bring comfort to his family at this time and that…See More

The Oddness of Parenting

As a parent, one is of necessity deeply involved (or should be) in the entertainment material which your children consume. I only take comfort in the fact that other… Continue

Hi, Aaron... Thank you for selecting me as one of your new friends! I read your blogs & I was impressed. You are such an articulate, insightful & principled young man that I feel honored to have a connection with you. Your piece (Looking for Daddy) was so moving, your love for your family is evident & the clip you featured (with Denzel Washington) put a lump in my throat. Thank you, again, for the connection. I look forward to getting to know you better... Sheri
