What have I been up to? Well aside from running the city (ha - thanks for the vote of confidence!) and reading your blog on 100% beef... what's left? Ahh -- just enjoying the summer. It's flying by isn't it? I'm playing in 2 rec leagues this summer -games starting this week! Hope you're doing well, I haven't run into you for quite some time.

Don't know if we'll get that chance or not. However, there's a great batting cage on the east side: 21st St just west of Post (The Bat Cave), an indoor facility.

Quick Joke

I read this today and thought I would share it, comments VERY welcome:

During a debate about what to do about leadership in Iraq, one congressman said, "Let's just give the Iraquis our constitution. It's worked for over 200 years." Another congressman replied, "That's a great idea. Besides, this country isn't using it anymore."

Have a great Saturday everyone!!!

The jist of the sermon was that we should quit waiting and making excuses about why we aren't committing to something and do something about it. Example

"I really would like to get back to reading my Bible, but... (Enter excuse here)"

And it hit me. The freque… Continue
