This is, in my opinion, an excellent example of an excellent idea in the wrong place. Personally, I wish all school funding went directly to education instead. No more sports funding. No more school lunch or even busing programs. Those things aren...

Well, I may be a purist, but I think of myself as more of a zealot.

I'd quibble only in that JFK was actually very effective for a short period, and that made him very unpopular with some. He was the last President to actually cut spending (Eisenhower nearly broke the bank and killed our public transportation syst...

I guess we ought to define "effectiveness." The most popular presidents are those who caused all sorts of calamity. The least popular ones are those, like Rutherford B. Hayes, under whom Nothing Bad Happened, and the nation grew and thrived (all r...

Actually, I see this as pretty much the same argument. Healthcare has been my business for thirty years now, and I know what healthcare SHOULD cost. With all the technology we've been developing, it should be like computers or other technology in ...

Please post your economics thoughts as much as you would like on Laissez-faire economics. I understand how busy you are, but I am sure you have great data compared to my just couple of years of research.

Hi, Andy. I had no idea you were a part of Smaller Indiana until tonight. You don't know me from Adam, but I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for running for governor. I've grown agitated, to say the least, at the evolution of government and it's nice to see someone with common sense and a desire to manage our state and country by that old document that seems to get pushed aside - The Constitution. Good luck to you and I give you my support.

I only got to listen on the radio to the first 10 minutes of the debate, but loved the education response.

To many open ended responses from candidates anymore on the state and national level. Yours actually has context and meaning.

I thought you did a great job in the debate. Hard to argue with the Constitution. Hard to see how we'll get back to observing though :-(

Andy, thanks for posting the great chart comparing the price of oil in Dollars, Euros and Gold on your blog. I was actually looking for a chart that showed exactly that yesterday!
