Please consider Operation OpenUP Community Outreach Services. We are a ministry of God's House of Worship in Speedway and I have been a member of Smaller Indiana for quite a few years. I have worked with my of the members here in many areas. They have been very good in helping me to collect sell phones for our ministry and outreach program.

Unfortunately, we are being forced to go on hiatus as of today because we have no cash reserve to keep our outreach line on and our cell phone coffers are running low. I am working with people to rebuild our position, but it takes time. In the meantime, one eho needs our help and none of our Resource Partners can get in contact.

That hurts me deeply.

Though we are not 501c3, our gifts come to us under the cover Pastor Benjamin John, God's House of Worship in Speedway. He has been so kind to us over the last several years. It pains me to have to inform him that I have been force to put the program on hold.

Please let me know if it is possible to be put on your list to be considered for a gift in 2010. We really only need two things, 1) to keep our outreach phone on and 2) to collect those unused cell phones with chargers that people have sitting at home in their drawers. Even if we do not qualify for your program, would you please consider hosting a cell phone collection drive at your church, with your horganizatin, place of buisness or in your community?

Thank you for your time and God Bless.

Hi Arlie,

Help

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.

6. "Blatant self-promotion" is discouraged on SI, and "spam" is not welcome. Please be considerate of your fellow members.

Smaller Indiana is supported by its members, and by corporate sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about sponsorship, please call Pat Coyle at 317 332 7878.
