BP is responsible for the terrible catastrophe in Gulf. Regardless of its cause, they are responsible. It is an inherent risk in their line of work and an astronomical cost of doing business. Our government also shares responsibility.



Again, regardless of whether it was human error, negligence, or bad weather. BP and our government (at least) share in the responsibility of preventing these accidents, mitigating the damage, protecting life, and cleaning up the mess.

There are so many ways small businesses and individuals can take advantage of "free" promotion on the web. I was reminded today of the value of the Google Profile. I'm always doing battle with a few other Bill Bean's for the first page of Google results on my name. Sure, it's somewhat of an ego thing, but if your business involves networking then you want to make it easy for people to find you on your name.
