I don't run a business like most of you folks.
I run a small non-profit which makes free home repairs for the elderly, the disabled and the disadvantaged.

I could go on and on about how difficult it is to get funding when your organization has a "BUILD DAY" everyday of the year instead of once or twice in the summer.

I could tell you how much a new furnace costs to have installed in January when you don't have time to do it because your too busy replacing a floor that has caved in so you have to call in a heat/cool company that doesn't really care about doing charity work, they just want paid.

I could try to explain the feeling and smell under a home in the mid-summer after the sewer line has broken and emptied its contents under the home for days, and you are laying on you belly on boards to keep you up out of it, while wearing rubber gloves that go all the way up to your armpits so you can repair the lines.

BUT, I can't even begin to explain how much my back hurts because I work 70 hours per week driving a truck so I can pay for 90% of these repairs from my own pocket. Then I spend another 30-40 hours working on the homes.

I also can't explain how good it feels to help someone who needs it so much and appreciates as much as my clients do.

I LOVE IT.

I could use some help;
Check it out at the website www.tabletalkministries.org
and then check out the story that Fox 59 did on us this week;
Yes, they made a typo, it's Table Talk, not Tabletop;
