Barcelona Tapas - Restaurant #2

Way back when, before Lent, we went to Barcelona Tapas at the urging of David. I had a few friends who recommend it as well, so I thought - what the heck?

The atmosphere was good and I really liked the decor. The food... well it was pretty… Continue

Naked Tchopstix - #4

Not much to say about this restaurant - great location in the heart of Broad Ripple, but sushi is not any better than Wasabi on 82nd and definitely not better than Sakura on Keystone.

The atmosphere was less like a genuine sushi place and more like a typical Broad Ripple hang out - no… Continue

Brugge Brasserie - #3

We LOVED this place! Actually, I cheated because I had been here before, but David had not and I knew he would like it. Besides, it's so close to our house that we had to go!

David had the Waterzooi, which he said was better then fish the fish chowder in Boston. I had a chicken pesto… Continue

Okay so I totally fell off the wagon and it only took 1 week. :) Wow.

But, I'm really trying to get back on - I have 3 restaurants to catch up on... so if anyone is interested... stay tuned. I might get a chance to write today! :)

Oh and as a teaser... these are the restaurants that we have gone to so far:

I Like Food!

Okay so I've decided to start a blog about food... I know it doesn't sound cool and it might not be, we'll see.

Let me preface this blog post by saying that I am far from being a food connoisseur or enthusiast - I'm not THAT cool. So, if that's the level of blog post that you are expecting you will be sorely disappointed.

Why am I starting this blog about food then? Well... and please hold your vomit until the end of the story... my husband (David) and I decided to go to one r… Continue

Hi Brooke- got your comment on my discussion page- thanks for replying.
My direct email at work is emyers at antiqueweek.com so we can try to coordinate. The 24th doesn't work for me- but the 26th might.
Thanks!

I have never eaten there, but heard good things. I live on Marco's Pizza. If your schedule ever allows it, maybe at an SI event or one of our IBN mixers, let's get an opportunity to exchange biz cards and learn how we might help each other. We have been fortunate to find a good chunk of biz for current members of SI through introductions IBN can facilitate..

Brooke, that's completely cool. I don't particularly use SI as much of a sales tool but invite a ton of people to attend our IBN events. If you would like to post a biz profile and pic at our site, consider doing so. Hey, was your server a guy named Squeek at Brugge? Real name is Greg Prosser? I live in BR, and Greg used to be my roommate.

Oh yes, I love Yats, too. Great place. Fun atmosphere, too. Tried Plum's Upper Room in Zionsville? Cool place, nice wine selection, great food.
