Thoughts...

I just started a social networking site on the ning platform. I am interested in social networking as well as development and poverty alleviation, so I thought, why not combine the two interest and start a site...

You might be interested in an upcoming event in Indianapolis involving many of the Colts players, Tackling Homelessness. I am a board member for the organizing agency, Horizon House.

This event, 2008 is the 4th annual, is a mix of team celebration and awareness raising of the issue of homelessness. There is great music provided by Hunter Smith's band, entertainment provided by numerous players, an autograph session, silent auction, and good dinner.

I hope you will check out the event and consider attending.

Yes, but not in the last two years do to my accident! I leaved in Denver for three years and would go to Copper or Breckenridge for the day. But love VAIL!!!!!

Social networking, in the general sense of the term, is valuable for any type of organization (business, church, or association). We saw a need in the church world for a network that allows members of a certain church to connect with each other outside the church walls. It is also another way to engage your members to evangelize in another form of media. Also, we use the tool to help pastors understand their community. What do they want? What do they like to hear?
