Past and future posts.

A few thoughts about the things that sometime fall from my head onto this (and other) page(s). First, not everything I write has a purpose. In an attempt to better my writing skills, spelling, thought processes and general education I have begun to write things out for critique. I thank those that have given both positive and constructive feedback.

Second, for the things that do have a purpose, it's my desire & goal that the words I write will resonate with those that they are… Continue

A life worth living.

How often do you complain about your life or the world around you? How often do you hear family members, friends or co-workers complain about their life or the world around them? When you read the paper or watch the news is it good or bad? Does the media portray a sense of well-being or do they invoke fear and uncertainty?

It's no surprise to me that many Americans are unhappy. Unhappy with their jobs, their life and the world around them. They spend the work week doing a job that is… Continue

And God created man.....or did he?

I've been promised by Ben Stein that I will receive hate mail for writing this.

Somehow I don't think my readership has enough of a following to have that promise fulfilled.

The issue. Freedom.

Why would I question freedom? What controversy is there over freedom? We are free, aren't we? Not according to most Darwinists.

After watching the movie, Expelled, No Intelligence Allowed I've been introduce to a situation I was unaware was even happening. The debate… Continue

An open invitation

I've learned something about myself recently. I've learned that I am ready to attempt something different. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. Who is ready to stop the insanity WITH me? I believe I'm a social creature with social needs. Prove me wrong or @ least have fun trying.

Was your resolution to change your diet, loose weight, be a healthier you? Me too, every year I can remember. How's that working out for… Continue

Springtime

We'll call her Jane. To be perfectly honest, I don't recall meeting her. I think I'd seen her, but hadn't taken the time to introduce myself and really get to know her. She was part of the crowd. I'd guess her in her 50's. Not overweight, but not fit either. Maybe 5'6", a warm smile, pleasant disposition. This was a Peak's event, so she wasn't a complete introvert, but I wouldn't guess her a leader.

Six had been chosen. A crowd of almost 1200… Continue

Recently I've created a 12 Subject Photoshop course for Photographers, and thought it would be something of interest to you. The course is 3 hours, 1 on 1, and you receive a handbook to go along with the course. Customizing the course by Subject is also possible. This is a great course that will benefit your photography forever. Course details can be seen on my site www.newmanphoto.net under Classes. Let me know if interested and I hope to speak soon.

Hey again :)

I won't be able to attend the 4/2 event. I'll be too busy squooshing on my twin neice and nephew babies in Seattle that week! Yahoo!

Wow, I've never even heard of some of the Peaks programs you've attended. I remember when there was such a (relatively) tiny course offering. Ah how it's grown (sniff, sniff). :)

:)

Hi David,

Nice to meetcha! :) Let's see ... my Quantum Leap membership ended a few years ago. I attended Wizard, Warrior, MMI, Train the Trainer 1 (twice) and 2, Master of Influence, Life Purpose (or something like that), and worked with a coach through SuccessTracs. And there could be something else in there that I'm missing. ;)

How about you?

Yes, Adobe has many helpful programs for the visual world of design. Has she tried the rest of the CS3 package, or now CS4?

David,

Wlcome to Indiana Photography. The photo you posted is beautiful. It gives off an essence of a chilled mystery, at the same time as it relaxes the viewer with its monochromatic composition. You do good work, sir. I am sure the person who stole it feels the same. Hopefully he/she still enjoys it as much as first expected.
