What is your greatest strength?
My greatest strength is that I spot synergy where others do not. Whether it is between people, products or creativity, I can spot a way for all parties to interact that proves the most efficient and productive.
What are you working on?
I'm currently working on expanding our employee base. Understand though that I do not refer to those who work for me as employees. They take my direction, of course, but everyone who works at Crager-Bartels works 'with' one another and we all equally share responsibility for success.

Why join Smaller Indiana? What are you hoping to experience here ?
Community is the reason for my existence. Any reason to get together is a good reason. Jesus said "Where two or more gather in my name, there I shall be." I've always viewed god/jesus as an energy beyond complete understanding, not just a two dimensional character as religions portray. Because of this when two or more of us gather we are then creating energy where it did not previously exist. Smaller Indiana appears to be a place where we can enjoy ourselves and give more detail about ourselves than the larger global networks.

Book Reviewers or Free Press junkie...I need high profile quotes for new book that integrates technology & salesmanship.

You are: A technology leader in Indianapolis...or a CEO/President of a local company...or work for a company with a national presence...or teach technology...or are some other twist of Indy who has a desire for free PR and a free book from Amazon.com No experience required...

Please excuse my naive actions, I've never done this before, but as a newbie, I would like to have you read a book and offer a quote or comment that would then be published in the book's final release.

Happy Hour at the Symphony
Told by Derek Crager

Doors opened at 5pm & I arrived fashionably late at 5:15 to a bevy of activity.

Tables were serving appetizers & a very attractive hostess delivered drinks to the masses.

AT&T is the major sponsor tonight but other vendors were displaying their wares. Nuvo, RadioNow 100.9, Morton's, Vito's, Weber, Starbucks & Tommy Bahama. The pre-show entertainment featured The Four Sexes jazz group playin… Continue

What a way to encourage participation. Bribe me with free tickets to a symphony in exchange for a written article about it.
Cool this thing is.
Now...How do I pickup the tickets?

I've been in small business for most of my career, and most of that was in Northern Indiana. We might have seen each other at a Rainmakers event. Or I really DO have one of those faces.

You must be thinking of another Amy, I hope she is a nice person. I would be upset if my name brought back some bad memories =)

Where are you from originally? I grew up in Muncie, attended Ball State. Or are you in Rainmakers? That could be another likely place.

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.

6. Smaller Indiana is supported by its members, and by corporate sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about sponsorship, please call Pat Coyle at 317 332 7878.
