WE FLY WITH YOUR WINGS

We have a date, time, place.
Sunday, November 2 at American Cabaret Theater
Fundraiser for ASSHOLES AND AUREOLES!!
$50 for the show and music by Karen and The Beast.
A Fabulous chance to help us bring this show to Dublin, Ireland, Edinburgh, Scotland, San Francisco, NYC, Minneapolis and -- who knows -- maybe Prague! Yes, they have a fringe in Prague and want English-speaking pieces.
InterAction Theater, a 501-c-3 since 2001, will allow your contributions to be tax deductible to the fullest exten… Continue

Party's over.
We had two final full houses for our show. We turned people away on Saturday night and had to add chairs to our Sunday performance.
Karen did one of our pre-show songs("I didn't know that our romance had ended until you poisoned my food.") with Scott Ballantine, who has been playing with Karen at the Canal Point Grill on Sunday nights all summer. She did beautifully.
A gender studies professor from Butler came up and talked about the fantastic politics of the piece, a pair of peopl… Continue

Another surprising night. Another amazing acknowledgement of the power of WORD OF MOUTH. I've done quite a few shows (Shakespeare in My Room in Indy, Dear John in Bloomington) where there is a wonderful production and no one in the chairs and you cancel the show and eat the money because nobody came.
This doesn't seem to be the case with ASSHOLES AND AUREOLES. We had a full house and a leap-to-the-feet standing ovation last night. Two more shows to go and Karen and Eric and I are so grateful! Er… Continue

I am at rehearsal for SHERLOCK HOLMES, doing Fringe and driving back and forth to Bloomington so it's very hard to commit to seeing people's shows. I apologise to anyone who might be growling about that. I know I would be.
We had a really good house last night (Tues.) and are celebrating the fabulous NUVO cover and Nell Weatherwax's FIVE STAR REVIEW. So well deserved. We'll be seeing her after our show on Sat. PM. AND I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP is the title of her show.
She's superb.
There do seem… Continue

We heard from Leonora! People have been asking about our director, Leonora Trey. We heard, via her son, that she's following our success long distance from California and is proud of us! While her health is not the best, she says she doesn't give a damn about that when she hears that another of her babies (her shows) is doing well. Thank you, sugar pie! We are trying to be nasty yet elegant, just as you advised.

Are you planning on attending the Chocolate Blues and Business Networking Festival next Thursday? I hear it's going to be huge, they expect about 1,500 people to attend. It should be a great networking day! I have free tickets, if you need a ticket, let me know and I'll email you one. If you want more details about it, it's listed under events on the 26th.

Have a good day and I look forward to networking with you. Please let me know if I can ever do anything for you,
Brandon
